Shipping and Delivery

At Goodscargo Packers Movers, we are committed to providing reliable, timely, and safe delivery services across India. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how we handle pickups, transit, and deliveries for all bookings made on our platform.

 

1. Service Coverage

  • We provide door-to-door and warehouse-to-warehouse shipping services across major cities, towns, and rural areas in India.

  • Remote area delivery may be subject to additional transit time or service availability.


2. Pickup Process

  • Pickup is scheduled based on the date and time chosen during booking or as mutually agreed.

  • All goods must be properly packed by the sender. The company is not responsible for damage due to poor packaging.

  • In case of delay due to sender unavailability, re-attempt charges may apply.


3. Transit & Shipping Time

  • Estimated delivery time is 1–7 working days, depending on:

    • Distance between origin and destination

    • Type of goods

    • Route and weather conditions

  • In case of unexpected delays (natural disasters, traffic, vehicle breakdown), customers will be notified promptly.


4. Tracking Shipments

  • All shipments include a unique tracking ID, which can be used on our [Tracking Page] to monitor current status, transit history, and estimated delivery time.

  • Live updates are also available via email or SMS alerts upon request.


5. Delivery Guidelines

  • Deliveries will be made at:

    • Customer’s doorstep (if door delivery is selected), or

    • Goodscargo destination warehouse (default option unless otherwise agreed)

  • The receiver must show the Goods Receipt (G.R.) copy or a valid ID to accept delivery.

  • Any unclaimed shipment after 7 days of arrival may incur demurrage charges of ₹100/day per tonne or per kg as applicable.


6. Delivery Delays & Liability

  • While we strive for timely delivery, Goodscargo Packers Movers is not liable for delays caused by:

    • Strikes, roadblocks, weather disruptions

    • Vehicle breakdowns

    • Incorrect or incomplete address information

  • In such cases, customers will be duly informed and assisted with rescheduling.


7. Unsuccessful Delivery

  • If delivery fails due to receiver unavailability or incorrect address, re-delivery may be attempted on request, subject to additional charges.


8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • If goods are found damaged or lost in transit:

    • A formal complaint must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery

    • Compensation is subject to investigation and goods being insured

    • Uninsured goods are transported at sender’s risk


9. Prohibited Items

We do not ship:

  • Hazardous or explosive materials

  • Illegal or banned substances

  • Currency, jewelry, firearms, or confidential documents
